Fomicruz has an important portfolio of mining properties acquired over several years of exploration, which together with its experienced staff, are the main assets of the Company.
Within this portfolio you will find mines in operation for almost two decades like Cerro Vanguardia (a Joint Venture with AngloGold Ashanti), or the association with the Argentinean junior company Patagonia Gold for the development joint projects (currently Lomada de Leiva and Cap Oeste), besides the Joint Venture with Hunt Mining in the advanced exploration and next to define its Economic Feasibility La Josefina Project, and finally the Agreement with Yamana Gold that includes the Cerro Moro Mine, currently in a construction phase.
The company’s large mining portfolio includes other precious metal projects in preliminary exploration stage like Argenta, La Juanita, Buena Esperanza, La Leona, Cerro Chato, and San Pedro, where their real potentiality has not yet been defined.
Formicruz continues to invest in various areas, either directly or through its private partners to expand the resources and to become a major player in both advanced projects and in its extensive package of exploration rights in Santa Cruz.
